<p>The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that during the last decade the number of illnesses resulting from unclean pool water has increased.It is particularly dangerous for some individuals such as:pregnant women, children, and those with weak immune systems.These individuals are particularly at risk of developing severe illnesses if infected. </p>
<p>The keys to having a safe pool situation are proper treatment and healthy behavior-protecting the water quality and the swimmer&#8217;s health.Chlorine continues to be the first line of defense in pool treatment.Adding chlorine to the water is an effective measure to kill germs. </p>
<p>You may ask how is it possible to tell the difference between a healthy pool and an unhealthy pool?According to the National Consumers League, Water Quality and Health Council, a national partnership formed by the CDC, and the American Chemistry Council, you should use your sense of sight, touch, smell, and sound to help you tell the difference.  </p>

<p>When it comes to housewives, they simply can&#8217;t afford to spend much on slimming instructors and cooks to prepare the prescribed diet.</p>
<p>Now, ladies often are troubled by the overwhelming thought of reducing in weight in order to fit in their old attires. For such impatient ladies, here are some useful tips based on the real life experiences of some of my family members:  </p>
<p>First and foremost, seek the advice of the doctor regarding the type, duration and time of exercise. In normal deliveries, the exercise can be safely started after 4 to 6 weeks. Nevertheless, in the caesarian cases it is better to delay the exercise by about 8-10 weeks. However, there is no harm indulging in routine movements like walking and moving around. In the initial phase, half an hour spent doing pnm exercise is quite sufficient.</p>
<p>Secondly, eat a healthy diet that abounds in folic acid, fibers, vitamins and proteins.</p>
<p>Then, it is beneficial to avoid high fat products like cakes and cookies and even ice creams. Fast food items and junk food should be kept away from oneself as they have high calories and carbohydrates. This, however, does not mean skipping meals to the extent of starving oneself to death, in some cases it may lead to compulsive eating as a reaction.</p>
<p>Fourthly, steamed food items are always healthier to eat than fried food.</p>
<p>Fifthly, increase the intake of water, say 8-10 glasses or even more. Fresh juices are preferable over the preserved ones.</p>
<p>Lastly and most importantly, the mothers breastfeeding their babies not only lose 500 calories per day but also intensify the maternal bond with the child. It keeps the mother and the little naughty healthy and happy. Studies show that mothers who feed their babies are saved from many diseases and their children develop strong resistance towards seasonal changes. </p>
<p>Be focused and stay consistent. With these tips one can achieve the target in a matter of days.  </p>

<p>Being healthy is not limited to a healthy body. It also refers to a healthy mind. This concept is very true for women over 60.  </p>
<p>We should focus on our cognitive faculties. To do this, stay mentally active. Are you reading informative and stimulating books? One book could actually expand your horizon. It can make you feel, think and look into the perspective of the authors&#8217; eyes. You can also do a cross word. Bottom line, keep your brain busy.</p>
<p>Stay active. Do a lot of activities. This will further help improve your stamina and keep you away from viral and bacterial sickness. However, keep your activities in moderate pacing.</p>
<p>Do a regular exercise regimen. Seek the advice of your doctor on an exercise appropriate for you. You can also jog or brisk walk early in the morning.</p>
<p>Always remember to breathe in and breathe out. This is the proper way and the only way to make the most out of the benefits of exercise. Make sure your exercise program is approved by your doctor.</p>
<p>Keep away from health hazards like smoking. This is detrimental to your health. If you think quitting smoking at the 60 is already too late, think again. It is better to stop now than to further expose your self from lung cancer.</p>
<p>Have a regular check up with your doctor. Make sure you are safe from cervical and breast cancer. Be mindful of your bone mass. It is advisable to take foods that could you&#8217;re your calcium needs as often as your could. Check your blood pressure regularly. Make sure you have a normal blood pressure.</p>
<p>You should be vigilant on these illnesses because it could catch up on you if you will not watch your health.  </p>

<p>Forty is a sensitive age. Women over 40 enter the menopausal stage. This is the stage when some women develop emotional issues because of the belief that old age is fast approaching during this stage. This is not necessarily true. In fact, there is a saying, life starts at 40.  </p>
<p>Women over 40 should also take care of their health.</p>
<p>Here are some tips:</p>
<p>Have a regular visit with your physician and your gynecologist. It is advised that you take your regular Pap smear test. It is very important to have a regular test than to risk cervical cancer.</p>
<p>Further, determine how you could deal with menopausal period. Are there any medicines to take? How can you take care of your health during menopausal period? Your physician or gynecologist could advise you further on how you could successfully pass through this delicate period in a woman&#8217;s life.</p>
<p>Be mindful of your food intake. The metabolism of your body is not the same as when you were on your 20s and 30s. Therefore, eat only when you need to. Balance your food intake to your daily activities.</p>
<p>Start taking foods that could support your calcium needs. Go for milk, cheese, yogurt, cereals, spinach and more. Make sure your calcium is fully sustained so as to protect yourself from osteoporosis and other relative diseases.</p>

<p>2. Osteopathy is extremely safe and won&#8217;t break bones (despite the fact they click when manipulated).</p>
<p>3. It is not generally painful.</p>
<p>4. You don&#8217;t have to ask your G.P. whether you can see an Osteopath, it&#8217;s up to you. (Some G.P&#8217;s still live in the dark ages and hate Osteopaths!).</p>
<p>5. Not all Osteopaths dress smart and talk posh (especially me). You won&#8217;t usually find they talk down to you, like you&#8217;re a bloody idiot, you go to the hospital consultants for that.</p>
<p>6. No, it&#8217;s not the same as a physio therapist or chiropractor.</p>
<p>So how does all this affect the bodybuilder? Well, as an Osteopath and part time bodybuilder, I get to treat a lot of problems associated with bodybuilding, and the success rate is excellent.</p>
<p>Bodybuilders are a pretty healthy lot and recovery is generally very quick. Obviously the quicker we can get to an injury, the better the prognosis. (that&#8217;s long-term view to you Mick) &#8211; (Eds. Note: Thanks mate, now bollocks! Ahem&#8230;..). Look at it another way, you go to the Doctor, he refers you to a physio, this takes months and in the meantime you get worse. So you phone your Osteopath and usually get in the same day or soon after, then it&#8217;s back to pumping iron.</p>

So many people think that staying healthy involves a lot of work. This is not the case. Staying fit is in fact easier than being lazy and unhealthy. We will talk about a few things here in this article. It really will surprise you once you see how easy it can be.</p>
<p>Did you know that focusing your time and energy on a hobby can cause vast improvements in your health? Participating in your hobby actually forces you to spend some of your time and your energy doing something relaxing or enjoyable. You can choose almost any activity to be your hobby like collecting things, crafting, arts, outdoor activities, reading, and even sports, which are also good for your health on another level. It can be anything you enjoy. It gives you time to spend time just being happy. The main way hobbies help improve health in general is by relieving stress. All people need to enjoy a little personal time and space in order to be healthy people. People with hobbies are likely to have less stress and better health.  </p>
<p>You will want to stay away from consuming high fructose corn syrup. You might also see it listed as corn sugar, so you should refrain from that also. High fructose corn syrup was introduced into foods as a substitute for refined sugar. Unfortunately, this particular ingredient is not good for your body, especially in mass quantities (which is easy to get since it is included in most foods). When you eat too much high fructose corn syrup, you can do a number of bad things to your body, and that&#8217;s why you need to keep from eating it.</p>
<p>Cook all your foods from fresh ingredients. This way you are controlling what goes in your food and know exactly what is in it. This makes it possible for you to maintain strict control over your own diet. Even foods claiming to be all natural may have ingredients you don&#8217;t want to ingest. You can make sure that you get the nutrients you need and that you enjoy the food that you are eating. Cooking is easy to learn and just gets better with practice. You may even discover you enjoy it in time. </p>
<p>There are quite a few ways to stay healthier and fitter. Eating a diet that&#8217;s good for you, exercising on a regular basis and keeping away from bad foods is a perfect way to accomplish this.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you want to lead a healthier lifestyle, you should know that there&#8217;s not really much effort involved. All you need to do is make a few simple choices and move around regularly and you should be fine. And really, the healthier and fitter you are the better you are going to feel!  </p>
