“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.”

Being healthy is not limited to a healthy body. It also refers to a healthy mind. This concept is very true for women over 60.

We should focus on our cognitive faculties. To do this, stay mentally active. Are you reading informative and stimulating books? One book could actually expand your horizon. It can make you feel, think and look into the perspective of the authors’ eyes. You can also do a cross word. Bottom line, keep your brain busy.

Stay active. Do a lot of activities. This will further help improve your stamina and keep you away from viral and bacterial sickness. However, keep your activities in moderate pacing.

Do a regular exercise regimen. Seek the advice of your doctor on an exercise appropriate for you. You can also jog or brisk walk early in the morning.

Always remember to breathe in and breathe out. This is the proper way and the only way to make the most out of the benefits of exercise. Make sure your exercise program is approved by your doctor.

Keep away from health hazards like smoking. This is detrimental to your health. If you think quitting smoking at the 60 is already too late, think again. It is better to stop now than to further expose your self from lung cancer.

Have a regular check up with your doctor. Make sure you are safe from cervical and breast cancer. Be mindful of your bone mass. It is advisable to take foods that could you’re your calcium needs as often as your could. Check your blood pressure regularly. Make sure you have a normal blood pressure.

You should be vigilant on these illnesses because it could catch up on you if you will not watch your health.
