Outwit, Outplay, Outlast on Survivor: Samoa

We live in the age of reality TV. However, there are those shows that have held water for years and still raking in fans and rave reviews. One of these is 20-season strong Survivor. This is a reality show that pits 20 diverse contestants against each other in locations both exotic yet harsh. They must learn to live in the wilderness, win challenges and be top strategists in their quest to win a million Dollars and the title of sole Survivor.

Season 19, also known as Survivor: Samoa, introduced us to the most devious, conniving and brilliant player of the game to date, Russel Hentz. He not only lied about what he does for a living (which is owning an oil company), but he also found each immunity idol hidden throughout the show without the help of clues or a map. He lied and clawed his way to the final with his beautiful ally, Natalie White and Mick Trimming, who received no votes in his favor at the final Tribal Council. Every time he wanted someone gone because they were a threat to his end game, the rest of the tribe would blindly follow him. He truly was the Survivor contestant we all loved to hate.

I enjoyed every moment watching this season up to December 2009 on Satellite TV from www.DirectStarTV.com. It is interesting to note that Russel was a finalist again in the following Survivor: Heroes vs Villains season.
